Week 2-3.

I AM POEMS

I love the way these poems came out. The background is watercolor. Originally, the I AM Poem finished " I am Yupik". My class wanted to change it to " I am a kid" could not argue with that one.

Scavenger hunt day.......

Ms. Olson reads Dr. Suess to the non-expecting students.

Ms. Alyssa interrupts to share a note she found from Dr. Suess about a scavenger hunt.

Students barley able to hold in their excitement.

Working for our clues. lap around gym.

Crab Crawl/ Bear crawl across gym.

2nd Clue

Third Clue

Challenge: encourage Ms. Olson to come out from underneath the ramp. ( this was my favorite.)

Ms. Olson gives the next clue.

Next challenge: everyone slide into a human tunnel.

We stopped after Ms. Olson, mosquitos got the best of us.

Sneak past the wolverine ( school mascot)

Almost there....

This was not part of the plan. Our para really got into character.

treasure!

Sweet faces.

This weekend, we visited the other teachers. We enjoyed taking another hopper plane.

Eric Carle and "The Tiny Seed"

Party of 2. Today, I had two students. We read "The Tiny Seed" for plant week. After our book we did a flower collage of our own! Life is bliss.
